Just out of curiosity I went on Wunderground 10-day for my place, shows rain/snow mix for several days and all showers Thursday. The coldest high is 41 Sunday. 🤪

The next 2 weeks is just 50 degrees 🤣. Though today high was supposed to be 50 it barely made it to 40 because clouds never cleared up.

Late December 2016 had a few, but they were in the 6-8 day range, I believe.

I think January 2011 might have as well. Don't think they got within 5 days though.

I had 52 today with sun and a thin evening cloud layer.

The avg high for Feb 8th is 43. So far I've started this month warm.

Let's hope February is not going to repeat 2000-2009, I'm pretty sure it was the least snowiest month in that decade and it likely rained more than snowed over here.

Anna’s Hummingbirds are year-round residents on the West Coast. Their range has expanded hundreds of miles northwards in response to feeding.

Lucky. We only see them 4-5 months out of the year. Ruby throated hummingbirds.

Just heard the first window-rattling gust of the evening.

Phone app says it's still 28° right now with only 13mph sustained, but was outside in the wind a little bit ago getting the generator prepped and It. Was. Cold.

Still just a light NE breeze here, currently 35F with a 28F dewpoint. It's nice having an event where the cold builds into the valley from the start, rather than one where cold air is left chasing the dropping dewpoints/roaring outflow. The lack of serious downsloping has to be helping cool the valley down. It gives me some hope that we'll still do alright for snow up here later in the week.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Really love the cold maritime troughing showing up in the long range. Right on cue for early spring snow showers.

You and your maritime fetish.

This gives us a better big picture of what the UKMET does

First low comes in at the mouth of the Columbia, further north than really any other model now.

The 2nd low now shows up and starts to move SE, looks pretty juicy. This track maybe looks closest to the ECMWF. It doesn't fly off in a hurry to the far south like the GFS. It ends up again at the mouth of the Columbia. Tons of precip.

Yeah, it was 60 degrees Feb 1st here. It looks like it's going to rain starting Wednesday but yeah it will be in the low 50's during the day. Would like to see some snow event before the month ends!
