Radiational cooling at night is not a good gauge of the big picture... the 12Z ECMWF is a mess.

JMA agrees with ICON, GEM, EURO. I suspect the Korean model agrees as well.

The way this is going we won't know how Monday will shake out until Sunday night.  Either way you will need the pool for either skating or swimming.

The Euro is hanging in there with the vortex over the plains. Prior runs had just moved it east. It's not the GFS solution but it's not the GEM either.

If by some chance the 12Z ECMWF verifies... this would be some spectacular weather.

Remember, weather data is extremely unreliable outside of 5 days due to lack of aircraft data compounded by SSW. Even for the more reliable euro. I wouldn’t put too much stock what’s being shown outside of this range. Warm or cold. Even Ventrice agrees that only reliable data we have right now is within 48 hours.

I thought model performances were supposed to improve with time??  What a joke that they can all be so different within 3-4 days....sad really.
