Unfortunately there is consensus. The GFS is just an outlier. Have a blessed day.

My point was that i wasnt seeing a huge setback on this run compared to previous, but I guess we needed more than "not a huge setback" to make magic happen

Radiational cooling at night is not a good gauge of the big picture... the 12Z ECMWF is a mess.

JMA agrees with ICON, GEM, EURO. I suspect the Korean model agrees as well.

Don't remember which night it was exactly, but I was delivering pizzas with a 0 degree wind chill that February and it was a f****** blast. This was back when I used to close, so I got to cruise around empty/snowy Bham streets til 2 in the morning watching the flakes come down. Good times.

I’m heading back up into the attic to get the kids inflatable pool.

The way this is going we won't know how Monday will shake out until Sunday night.  Either way you will need the pool for either skating or swimming.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Remember, weather data is extremely unreliable outside of 5 days due to lack of aircraft data compounded by SSW. Even for the more reliable euro. I wouldn’t put too much stock what’s being shown outside of this range. Warm or cold. Even Ventrice agrees that only reliable data we have right now is within 48 hours.

Fun times.

Instead of the popcorn bag pretend it’s a barf bag.

If by some chance the 12Z ECMWF verifies... this would be some spectacular weather.

Anyone own a plane so we can fly around the earth and help collect data for the models??? Lawyers are rich... Matt can we borrow your plane? Phil? Don’t you own a plane that you used to fly in and out of Stampede Pass International? Anybody?
