Super Bowl Weekend Multiple Waves

Measured again before I shoveled the fluff and we ended up getting just 1/2" of new snow. Current snow depth is about 6"

Very sad. Cold air in place and very little snow to go with it. Maybe later on in the week.we might be able.to turn.the corner

Lincoln has had 10 inches for there 2 day total. I'm just south of town and think its a little higher than that.

Bottom 6 inches is solid ice. On Dec 28th we had a snow, rain, thunder sleet  mix followed by single digits. Its still there! Late Jan we had 2 rains totalling  1.6 inches mixed in with snow after snow. A true glacier!!!

I see we were just put back in a WWA. NWS says a band will set up somewhere along the I80 corridor overnight in the area. 1-2” possible, but isolated higher amounts.

There is development to the north but that back edge is a bit close to me.   Hmmm lots of snow still.

Got another inch from tonight’s snowfall. 1.5” now today to go along with the 2.8” that fell yesterday.

Down to -1.3 degrees at this time.

I am getting some decent snow from this morning's band.  Iowa City is in a better spot.
