TT-SEA 4239
Well... that was quite a night. Almost all of our snow is finally gone. It was like taking a power washer to it last night... the house was shaking all night in the wind while rain was pounding on the roof. Amazingly there are still some snow banks and spots with snow is the less wind exposed parts of the yard. No idea how any snow could survive that beating last night! We went almost all of February and March in 2019 with a big storm like this one and that is why it took forever for that snow to melt. 4 1 Quote **REPORTED CONDITIONS AND ANOMALIES ARE NOT MEANT TO IMPLY ANYTHING ON A REGIONAL LEVEL UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED**

That means almost an Arctic front type situation (higher pressure to the north and higher pressure to the south) without really cold air, but cold enough. A normal c-zone is with onshore flow. Its a pretty impressive crash tomorrow evening. ECMWF shows temps in the mid to upper 40s during the afternoon and around freezing by midnight and also shows a c-zone south of its usual spot tomorrow evening. If you do get snow... you might also get to experience sun with snow on the ground on Wednesday morning. TT-SEA 4239
I know I am going to jinx it now... but the 00Z ECMWF also showed some spectacular early March weather next week with dry weather and temps into the low 60s. Timmy_Supercell 2315
When I'm on facebook it seems like some have short term memory when it comes to weather. They see the latest snotel maps and react as if we haven't seen a normal winter in years. I look at March 2019 and sites were putting out 120-150% SWE values across the state. Also 16-17 was pretty much a continuous battering of storms in the PNW. They see the latest snotel maps and react as if we haven't seen a normal winter in years. I look at March 2019 and sites were putting out 120-150% SWE values across the state. Also 16-17 was pretty much a continuous battering of storms in the PNW. I'd like to find maps of that season. At least up here 2016-17 had a lot of cold / dry weather. 1 Quote Death To Warm Anomalies!
