We are in the main part of town at the Huckleberry Inn. So you just park along the road. Although you need to alternate sides every other night for snow removal.

Good to know....used to enjoy huge maple bars at the Huckleberry after a day of skiing at Timberline.  Glade trail would deliver us right on the door step :)

In that kind of pattern I think you would do pretty well with c-zone action. I imagine there would be some pretty remarkable lapse rates and convective potential if there were some solid mid-day sunbreaks.

No doubt. That's exactly the kind of pattern that has given localized 6-10" snowstorms in the c-zone in the past.

It seems really intent that it's going to get cold.  Keep in mind we have abnormally cold air in play right now with the incredible deep freeze much of Asia has been having.  That stuff might be able to move now that we aren't in the dead of winter anymore.

Quite a number of ensemble members are as cold as the operational GFS on this run.  The mean on the 850s is around -6 in the Mar 10 to Mar 15 range.  Pretty impressive.

Looking like February is going to end up with a mean temp of around 28 at Bartlesville, OK. Their records go back to 1920 and this is going to end up being the coldest February all time by over 1F. Beating out 1978. Going to be the 7th coldest month on record overall behind January 1930, 1977, 1978, 1979 and December 1983, 2000.

I don't see the polar vortex being dislodged without a SSW event, which is unlikely now. Chilly but I doubt we see another arctic blast this winter. But you are right. That is, if by some lucky chance it does get dislodged and ends up in the PNW, we would see a historically cold March.
