Just no doubt what it was the second it happened. They didn't like the lawn mower too much. It will be interesting to see what happens with those giant hornets they have started finding in Whatcom County. Yea. Power equipment really irritates them. I remember working near a nest with a chainsaw one day and they started to get aggressive. I literally ran to my truck about 100 yards away and they were still after me. 1

I work around them all the time and almost never get stung. Only once when one somehow got into the top of my shoe did I get stung by a bee.

If we are heading to Lake Entiat or Chelan for pleasure and go on a Friday we are on the road by 7am and we won’t come back until the following Monday. Between the weekend/Holiday traffic and construction in the summer that is the only option unless you enjoy crawling along at 2mph.

TT-SEA 4193
Example of the ECMWF cold bias with high temps... it showed 49 for a high today at SEA and its currently 54 there. It showed low 40s in the Snoqualmie Valley and its 53 in North Bend right now. Apparently it reaches out to Snoqualmie Pass where it showed 38 today and the high so far has been 43 there.
