This storm is looking impressive...back to back Majors possibly????

 

Wow...10-20" showing up in SE MI/NW IN/NW OH...

 

That's one wide band of heavy snow!

 

A lot of potential for this weekend.

Mercer Island, 350 ft

2021-2022: 11.6", 02/21

2020-2021: 15.6"

2019-2020: ~10"

2018-2019 winter snowfall total: 29.5"

2017-2018: 9.0", 2016-2017: 14.0"

C'mon baby, let's DO THIS!!  Would really make up for the GHD-1 disappointment over in this part of MI.

Winter 2023-24 Snow Total = 53.1" (90% Normal Season)  Largest Storm: 12" (1/12-13)   Oct: 0.1 Nov: 2.9 Dec: 7.5 Jan: 31.7 Feb: 6.0 Mar: 4.3 Apr: 0.1

Avg = 59.2"  (Harrison): 2023-24 = 53.1" 

Avg = 45.0"  (KDTW): 2022-23 = 33.5"   2021-22 = 35.6"    

Avg = 49.7"  (KRMY): 2020-21 = 36.2"   2019-20 = 48.0"   2018-19 = 56.1"   2017-18 = 68.3"    2016-17 = 52"    2015-16 = 57.4"    2014-15 = 55.3"    2013-14 = 100.6" (coldest & snowiest in the modern record!)  2012-13 = 47.2"    2011-12 = 43.7"

I might be the only one here, but I think I'd rather experience 70 degree temps in January for one day than a 30" snowstorm. Both are awesome though :lol:

Yeah I'm actually quite fascinated by this. Possibility of snow just two days later with temps falling into the teens. Craziest weather is in this part of the country.

Yeah and snow with temperatures falling into the teens on Saturday. Craziest weather in the country is right here.

January should end up just a bit below normal around here like that map depicts. Snowfall will be 9.4" for the month unless the storm starts earlier tomorrow night.
