FarmerRick
Looks like OAX is sitting on their hands……again. Yeah, it's surprising considering how consistent the models have been... just gradually moving the track to the north ever so slowly. NEJeremy
The 20Z RAP shows the heaviest band right through central Nebraska and through 14Z tomorrow(8am) has very impressive amounts already, including Omaha. Shows 2"/hr rates! Has .25" qpf for Omaha and at the ratios it should fall at could easily be 4-5". Already not looking forward to tomorrow's drive! CentralNebWeather
Good observation. I like the gfs better than the nam for my location, but I am just being greedy. Will be fun to watch where the heavy band sets up in the morning.

jcwxguy
looks like all locals are calling for 3-5 inches, except wowt omaha, calling for 1-3 for omaha metro (hrrr has been trending less over last several runs), showing only 2-3 inches
Sven
So GFS and NAM qpf numbers newest runs?
NEJeremy
local met says it appears at least initially the snow is developing further north. too early to say how this will transpire as the band moves east. a couple of the mets are now saying 3-4" for Omaha
jcwxguy
06z gfs is very similar to 00z, only has the 6" amounts in a narrower band and stretches it farther east and maybe just a few miles north of the 00z run

pack402
Piling up quickly in west Omaha. Radar looks good for moderate snow through the morning hours. We could easily see 4+ in the metro!

FarmerRick
Had probably 2" already in Southern Washington County. Snow was drifted in waves on my county road, kinda neat looking. Nice big flakes coming down now in NW Omaha.
gabel23
Just pouring out there! Very impressive snow rates at the moment, currently sitting at 4" and it's still coming down. I'm shocked when they extended the wsw they stopped where they did.
