Looks like Clearbrook in Whatcom County had its driest March in 118 years of records. And its 2nd driest April on record.

Drought is certainly going to extend regionwide pretty soon. All of Eastern WA is there already.

It has definitely been dry up here compared to points further south.  Things are still green for the most part, but if this trend continues, this summer is gonna suck.  I am glad we are getting A/C installed so we won't have to suck bunch of smoke into the house as we try to cool things off at night.

Seems every other GFS run defaults to that bizarro NPAC pattern in the LR. As if it has some kind of internal flaw that pushes it in that direction over extended periods of time.

And it is still terribly dry for the PNW over the next 16 days... except for King County of course.

Quite gusty out there tonight. It's such a warm wind it actually feels quite nice. Sitting at 70 after a high of 79.

Noticed the same thing this evening... unusually breezy for a day like this and its a warm wind.
