WeatherBell is where I view them but as said, it's like $25-$30 a month. I use sports betting winnings to pay for my subscription but only from Nov-Feb. Since I've purchased it, we have proceeded to have a grand total of zero inches of snow and we're still in the midst of like 1500+ days since our last sub-freezing high.

Ok, thanks.  I like the at a glance aspect of the meteograms despite their inaccuracies but it doesn’t seem worth subscribing to Weatherbell to get them.

I’m more interested in your secrets to actually making a profit on sports betting, as I tend to run a deficit there.  😀

Set a consistent unit price. For me I use 1% of my bankroll on each unit. Each pick for the day should be based on that number, sometimes it's worth it to go 1.5 units and sometimes only 0.5 units. Unit placement is one of the most important things but also quite difficult to do well.

Single games only. NBA player props, NFL player props. Follow good cappers on twitter (there are several that hit at a 60% clip). With the props, one has to be ready to get the line very quickly or it will move higher and the player will have more trouble reaching that figure.

Bet on the opponent to cover the spread vs the Seahawks XD (don't actually bet emotionally)

Almost never do parlays because that's basically pulling a slot machine. 6 point NFL teasers are ok just don't do too many.

Absolute perfection today.    I appreciate nice weather in May and June more than in any other months.   Its pretty depressing when its dark and gloomy during the longest daylight of the year.   I don't mind some rain and gloomy days mixed in... but these extended periods of sunshine are a real treat.   And knowing that summer is just getting started.     I realize its always this way in Oregon... but not always up here.

Has anyone checked on Jesse?🙏🏻

Just got home, and I was posting as recently as this morning. Today was a pretty day. Just because this weather pattern is about the farthest thing from ideal right now for our region doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a day at face value. Got some nice hiking in this weekend too.

Anyway, I apologize for not being on as much lately. I know I should be filling this place with harrowing anecdotes and endless pages of whining and complaining like certain people would be doing if the meteorological tables were turned right now. Since that is so productive ;)

Probably not at my location.  2011 and 2012 were pretty cold La Nina springs.  This La Nina spring has been fairly mild.  Lots of cool nights, but not cold.

What made this La Nina so different then the cold 2011? On Britain's Extreme Weather Season 1 they explain this very thing around 2009 thru 2012 Britain suffered unusually cold weather till 2013. In fact 6 summers in a row were total washouts till the great heat of 2013 on episode 4 about heat.

Obviously we weren't alone in the 2009 thru 2012 cold department here in the PNW.

The overall year of 2009 wasn't as cold as 2008 in the PNW. There was maybe a stretch of 3 years from 2010-2012 that were considered statistically cold. Don't forget we had a hot summer in Jul/Aug 2009, and later that winter was an El Nino season with pretty much little or snow events aside from the one right before my birthday.
