I admit sometimes I don’t track the rainfall totals down there the same way I track them up here in western WA. A record dry March here but then we never had to water all summer. That is only time that has ever happened here for us. Only 2.04" at HIO, which is 15 miles west of PDX. Still above average, but it was very showery and location-dependent. Yeah, that's usually the way it goes by June, though. Although we have seen a few legitimate atmospheric river events in June before. Of course you can get tons of rain in the spring and early summer and still get a wildfire fest once late august and September roll around if we are hot and dry all of July and august...last year being a good example.
