Yea we just didn’t luck out today but that’s how it goes sometimes. Just 0.06” of rain here so far today.

Such is the nature of these scattered tstorms. I'm not that far away and managed to pick up about 0.22" today.

There’s been a nice strong band of rain sitting about 10 miles north of here for awhile now now. Didn’t have much luck today but maybe we will get hit tomorrow.

Yup. That band formed around 5pm and gave us a pretty nice downpour with hail, lightning and thunder. It led up somewhat since then with some light showers but returns on the radar is indicating some heavier cells are moving in again.

South Sound CZ again ❤️
I enjoyed watching the amazing clouds formations from this band but just a little to far away to hear the Thunder :(

Awful.

End of the world.   Bellingham is still +.35 for the water year even after a dry spring.

Clear with a somewhat impressive low of 37 this morning. Even had a touch of light frost on the roof. Weird spring.

58/44 yesterday with widely scattered showers and .05” of rain. Hoping we can score a little more in the way of activity today.

Just under an inch of rain since Monday afternoon now.    SEA missed out on most of it... but most of the city of Seattle was under the c-zone last night.    The entire I-90 corridor from Seattle to the Cascades had heavy rain.

Evidence on the EPS weeklies for a period if large scale WPAC subsidence as we head towards the summer solstice.

Excellent news if that verifies. A Jesse pattern.

Yikes. Seems like you could use another break from the forum...I thought you “outgrew” this type of forum discussion. 😉

Thanks for keeping it simple. If it's a Jesse pattern it's something I truly long for. NO MORE HEAT!!!!!! 😁 Schools out for the summer! Schools out forever!

Really nice euro run for western OR last night. It’s pretty dry for western WA but a nice soaking there.

I was under the assumption that by this point in the spring we’d know to stop trusting any advertised rain more than 5 days out.

It’s there atleast...better than it showing a ridge. Hopefully it sticks around on the later runs. It is only 6-7 days out.

Only +2.3F here and a whopping .62" of rain and almost all of that fell on the very first day of the month.

Down to 41F last night tho so an impressive low temp given how warm we almost always are down here compared to the rest of the region.

12Z GFS is fairly dry over the next 10 days... and looks much nicer leading into Memorial Day weekend than the last couple of runs.

Based off the trajectory of showers moving from north to south this morning I think we will do better in terms of rainfall today than yesterday.

Nice cool morning to wake up to. Honestly wouldn't mind if the rest of the summer was like this. Getting central air installed later this week, so I guess that is a sure fire sign of a multi year cold summer streak.

Yeah these cool mornings are awesome.  I'm getting it installed next month (16th) so that only reinforces your theory.

The last 2 summers haven’t ended up being too hot here outside of a few hot days here and there so I haven’t gotten one. Might get one this year because I feel like my luck may run out. Summer 2018 and 2017 were pretty miserable without AC.

I don't think you have anything to worry about at your location.

12Z ECMWF is not so great at the same time... hopefully the trough way out in the NPAC keeps digging and lifts the troughing on the east side northward.
