If Mark went with the NAM today he would have gone with flurries, T- 1/2 inch.

How much do you have there now?

The traffic cams are insane.    No sign of pavement anywhere.

And to think that just a few days ago some models were showing that you would receive close to a foot.

BTW I hope M. Nelson is wrong.

 I know.! Hopefully a last minute change in the models will occurs but highly unlikely

I would just like to mention that the current temp at PDX is 2 degrees colder than tomorrow's record low. Additionally today's high at PDX was 2 degrees colder than Saturday's record low.

The radar looks exactly like the ECMWF showed... except the precip is not really reaching the ground up here.    Still... it had the location nailed almost perfectly.

Its the model to follow this weekend.

For the bc lower mainland forget about it until maybe late Sunday or early Monday. Even then looks like a quick inch or two before transitioning. Maybe things will trend better.

It's regrettably hard to measure snow when it comes in sideways all day. If I knew how to upload a video to this site from my iPhone, I'd show a 10-second clip of the blizzard conditions we had to endure in Battle Ground much of Thursday. As the precip enters a lull, I'd go with 6" of snow (estimated) with a high temp of 20F (not estimated).

Favorite weather: The kind most people run away from
