Someone who was banned form the old forum and never should have been let in through the backdoor on this one

I'm someone these fools are jealous of because I own a growing network and have the only non-government supporting weather service in the nation today.  Dumbasses in here are u pto their old tricks when I return.

Thats all I want.

I am not asking for alot.

Oh then if that's all you're asking for then that's right.  There's enough moisture to make it to Puget Sound later on.

That is what I was expecting and hoping for. It is I think a realistic hope.

Pretty epic snow event down in PDX and area by the sounds of it! Enjoy it while you can, everyone.

Up in Canada, I just issued a Hydrometer Alert for the City of Vancouver.

No.   It does not melt at 37 and sunshine.  Its evaporates in our dry, arctic air.

Got an e-mail from my mom who said the 2 inches of snow there has all melted.    I will tell she is mistaken.     It subliminated in 2 hours of mid-day February sunshine!

I don't think there is much melting going on with such low DP's.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Now see, this is why you get yourself into hot water. Tact my friend. Treat others like your peers instead of expecting them to grovel before your weather greatness. Better to be friends and disagree than be enemies.

OMG,    Enough!   The snow turned to liquid and then the water dried up.     In the sun its probably 45 degrees.    That makes snow melt!!

Its 35 degrees officially in Bellingham.   That is in the shade.     :)

Tried that, doesn't work.  I'm known as the Rogue Meteorologist for that very reason.   Didn't come in here blasting anyone first ... I am on the defensive ... And it better stop.

Just for you Dadio!

Thanks for the update. More pictures of the incredible weather BLI is having today. Wow something white is in the shade. Can't be snow. I have it from a very authoritative source that all of the snow is gone in BLI. Keep on, carrying on, with whatever you want. If multiple pictures of snow melting rock your boat today, then go for it. Maybe a new thread should be started just for it.

Now this is a snowstorm, yesterday was the appetizer (and it was pretty good).

Absolutely dumping in Tigard currently. As heavy as I saw yesterday.

Huge dumps in W. Ore in 2 months in the same winter?

Bet they dont see that again for a decade

Absolutely beautiful day in Seattle.....if it snows that will just be a bonus.

I feel really lucky be able to live in the Northwest.

It is a gorgeous day.    The lack of wind and the sunshine makes it feel about 30 degrees warmer than yesterday.

I'm with you on that sentiment. Following this storm to the south has been icing on some great weather. Winters in the PNW still hold all kinds of promise.

Lol Thanks for the link. That was a well written post. And we do need some more snow for our mountains.

I guess if 95% of the snow is gone... then its about the same as it was this morning!      Could our standards be any lower???    Particularly in light of the insane situation to the south.

It does NOT feel like 59 degrees EVEN in the sunshine

Are you nucking futs?

I am guessing it felt like it was 10 degrees here yesterday with the wind chill and thick clouds in the afternoon.      It feels like at least 40 degrees now with no wind and total sun.    Do the math.

Depends where you are, though. For areas north of Olympia it's the same old poop.

There is desperate need for a "spread the wealth" storm.

Sorry, but you're wrong. Areas to the north of Olympia have had a colder and cold longer stretch than has been the norm for February.

To be fair, Mr. KMartin got some ad hominem attacks sent his way for the mere act of posting here.  Haven't been around long enough to see why he got banned last time, but I can see why he might be on the defensive now.
