Here is the 00Z EPS... basically no rain but also doesn't show any hot weather either.     Just consistent warmth.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Man, that would be an amazing severe pattern imby, as long as we don’t end up under the ridge.

Though with E-Hem/Indian Ocean MJO/CCKWs next month, that fat, ugly 4-corners/plains ridge is only going to get fatter and uglier. I fear a top-5 hot August is in store for the lower-48. And September is looking progressively worse of late, as well. Even squinting, I don’t see any real hope on the horizon. :(

Could be a rough go with tropica systems with that pattern as well in september.

Does Denver normally get lows in the upper 60's? I'm still learning some things about that area (brother is in Brighton, CO). KDEN had 67 for a low. They're known to be the mile high city, am I wrong assuming that sounds warm for them?

Had a chilly 41 this morning here. 81 and some of the smoke is back. Couple days ago the AQI wasn't more than 20's.

It’d be pretty crazy if the Columbia River were actually that wide.

Might as well be that wide Oregon isn’t PNW anymore.

One of the true great phenomenon unfolded over the past month and is continuing to unfold on these forums after laying dormant seemingly for quite a while. I posted a tweet from the NWS Seattle which reference 1986 and somehow it turned into a TwO-tHousAnd-FiFtEeN discussion. Just extraordinary!

That's pretty warm. Average lows this time of year are around 60, average highs around 90.

It's warmer here in the summer than a lot of people imagine, it seems.

Average low is a little under 50 at KLMT. Looks like there are more 100 degree occurrences there than at my place so at least I'm aware Denver does get heat in July ;)

SEA up to 76... the ECMWF showed 73 for a high today.    The ECMWF cool bias should be back for the next week or more with no marine layer.

This is the coolest day in sight per the ECMWF and EPS.

Hope everyone is having a nice Thursday!  One more day till the weekend. :D

It is sunny, clear skies and 66F degrees in Everett, Washington right now.  Nice cool breeze too.  Feels great.

Took advantage of this sunny morning and hiked Poo Poo Point :)

Some distant clouds but nothing heavy.  Paraglider's must be sleeping in

Currently 77* and sunny ☀️

Racking up those plus 80s!

Well the euro shows upper 70s to low 80s here over the next 10 days with the rain exception of today…also have to factor in the euros cool bias. Have only had 5 +80 days so far this July but will definitely net some more before the months over. Warmest day so far this month is 83 interested to see if that’ll be the final number or not.
