Looking at dot cams it doesn’t look like it’s raining even where radar is suggesting it is.

Are you able to see a smoke column from your location? Not sure if you would be able to see it from where you are at, but if radar is picking it up it must be pretty high given the radar coverage down there.

It’s hard to see with all the smoke moving in from California but you can see it on the satellite loop.

Looks pretty active on the true color satellite loop

I remember Flatiron dry humping the more moderate Canadian during the lead up to late June.

If it takes a 1-in-500 year event for the GFS to score a coup, I’d play those odds.

Though really, the CMC and GFS are both getting spanked by the Euro (as usual). It ain’t even close, actually.

For reference, the GFS’s 0.563 correlation coefficient for 500mb heights at hr192 is equivalent to where the ECMWF was *13 years ago*. 😬

I can remember at least one time I was very glad the Euro was wrong...

I'm flattered you think of me so often, Dewey.

It’s a little weird isn’t it…

It gets worse. I bought a 2015 Toyota Tacoma a week and a half ago and doing a wrap with Olympia’s summer temp anomalies adorning it. It’s proven to be a little more spendy than first thought. Used trucks aren’t cheap right now!

My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.

Wasn't able to see a smoke plume but everything is so smoky in the sky that it's hard to tell from here.

Looks like we got up to 96F.
