0z GFS is also troughy through day 10. Showing several nights in the upper 48s to near 50 for SEA in the mid-range. Unfortunately a bit dry. Does get a bit warm again near day 10 but there is an incoming trough to the north, still ways out to even worry about that.

Great GFS run tonight.  Amazing how the 4CH just gave up and folded.

00Z GFS is quite sunny after Saturday... sunshine and temps in the 70s sounds just about perfect right now.

I'm fine with cool and dry.  In spite of how dry it's been it's normally dry this time of year anyway.  The coming pattern should be very enjoyable and a bit crisp at night.

It’s perfection imo. I can’t really wait to enjoy the crisp mornings again and afternoon sunshine. The rain can and will come later, so why not enjoy the sun a bit longer.

At least one big rain event for the entire PNW would be very welcome right now.

So the GFS and ECMWF both show tomorrow staying below 70 in Seattle... the GFS is actually colder with 66 compared to the ECMWF with 69.

But then both models show temps well up into the 70s on Saturday despite it still being mostly cloudy.

And Sunday is cooler again in the low 70s but almost totally sunny across the entire area by afternoon except for line of clouds and showers in the morning right over Randy's area (and Snohomish County) which is the remnant of a c-zone up there.

What does the Blend show? Shannon is going with the GFS output of 66. Looks like whats keeping the temps down will be the breeze.

I’d send you some if I could. Yet another night of torrential downpours and booming thunder here, possibly 2-3” by daybreak.

Jealous of Boston though. We’re overdue for a cat2+ hurricane and haven’t scored in ages. Return period varies, but haven’t seen a cat-2 since (at least) the 19th century.
