It looks like it had wanted to rain all day long, bit it hasn't here in the convergence zone.  We hit 64F as our high today.

I was gonna say…. Looks like it wants to rain here too. Can’t quite make it happen. 67 degrees and calm so it’s pretty pleasant out.

Got my mother in law from the hospital. The doctors were able to save her and she is on blood thinners now. She will be a lot slower and I’m trying to convince her to retire.

That is good news, at this point it'd be best to have a zero stress environment.

Super glad I bought a legit storm proof tent for this trip. Going to be going down to Oregon right about the timeframe the models are indicating the beginning of a wet pattern change. Will gladly take the rain over the smoke and fire danger.

My father in law passed away last night. ☹️ he was in decent shape for 71 years old. Long story short 17 days ago he went in and got the covid vaccine and started feeling sick the next day. 4 more days went by and he was having a very hard time breathing so he went to hospital.  They did everything possible to save him but his lungs couldn't keep enuff oxygen in his blood and he passed. I don't know much about the vaccine or how this could of happened but it did. and of course my fiancee couldn't even go see her father because of this fuking covid bullshit.

Why do bad things like this happen to such great people? I’m so sorry 😔

I've always believed when it's your time it's just time. Yesterday was his day. What really bothers me is he'd probably be alive if he didn't get the vaccine.  Just days before the vaccine he was up cleaning his roof on a 3 story home, still riding his Harley and still mowing his lawn. Just unbelievable.  It's rare to die from the vaccine but it does happen.

That is absolutely horrible... I am so sorry for your loss.

Are they sure he didn't actually have COVID when he got the vaccine?

My condolences Mr. Snowmizer. I hope they can figure out if the vaccine caused it or not. I have a very strong personal opinion about vaccines and this whole pandemic. I'm praying for you and your family.  🙏

Definitely feels like early fall at Snoqualmie Ridge today…. We were there in the afternoon for wedding rehearsal and was dealing some light drizzle/low clouds, and slightly chilly temperatures. Fog and mists up at higher locations.  Good enough to warrant a sweater.

Man that is terrible, I am so sorry for your loss.  You and your family will be in my family's thoughts.  The way things went down, it kinda makes me wonder if he already had it, and the vaccine triggered a reaction.  Regardless, that has to be especially hard on your fiancee, not being able to see him.
