Snowy Pumpkins, Snowy Turkeys, Suntanned Santa and Old Man Winter going on vacation Jan-Feb. It's the best I could come up with at 11:51 PM.

This would be a phenomenal mountain snow pattern if it were winter!

Wouldn’t be surprised to see the lowlands underperform on rain though. They usually do nowadays.

I absolutely can't believe I've only had 0.37" of rain in almost 3 months.  That is beyond ridiculous!

You'd think a lot more people would be ecstatic over our new PNW Death Mountain climate. It was still 61F at midnight down here. No drop of rain or barely even any cloud cover except for Friday.

Think we’re close to late March early April at this point. Solstice isn’t too far off now.

Holy cow the euro shows like 2” of rain here. Get the feeling in the end it’ll be closer to an inch…but that’d be quite the introduction to fall. Jim says he’s had 0.37” in the last 3 months but I’ve only had 0.08”…and some have had less or nothing at all.

Looks like I picked a really interesting day to travel down to central Oregon (Saturday). Nws point forecasts show high temps around 40 at the higher peaks like hood and bachelor on Saturday…only 50 for a high temp on Saturday at the campground im going to. Not taking those at face value might end up warmer than that but at the very least will be an interesting weather day.

Depending on how chilly it ends up being (still skeptical it ends up being chilly enough for flakes) might do some hiking up at timberline on my way down there Saturday. Really excited to go to central Oregon has been 5 years since I’ve been in the area…didn’t do nearly as much as I wanted to while I was there.

Those of us who count get antidote pills from the government mailed to us every month, so who the f*ck cares. Now if you’ll excuse me I have to go check my bank account and see if the monthly transfer from the Rothschild estate came in on schedule.

Rained off and on all night. Now up to 0.31" and counting for this event.

This weak little front turned into a decent rain producer up there... nothing here so far.

Ironically the ECMWF shows that despite plenty more rain... next weekend will actually be more sunny up there with strong onshore flow.

rather surprised to see .6" in the rain gauge since midnight.  Looks like most of it (about .5") came in between 5:50am and 7am.  It has been holding around 57-58 since about 6pm last night.

.33" here. The hills really seem to be helping you get more.

Sort of interesting that this very slow moving front moving through right now will get pushed all the way to Minnesota by tomorrow afternoon.   It took 2 days for it to move from just off the WA coast to the Seattle area and then 1 more day to move half way across the country!

Not looking great for this round here.  We've basically had enough moisture to look like we had some heavy fog so far.  The radar doesn't look like much either.

The ECMWF has been terrible so far on today.  We'll see if some kind of sneaky convergence happens to change that.
