Not totally sure yet. We are staying 2 nights at Custer State Park in South Dakota, then were thinking 1 night in the Helena area and then a few nights near Glacier. But we may audible depending on the weather.

Sounds like a fun trip!

Hasn’t been too bad down here weather wise. Rained on and off in the ochoco mountains was in the low 60s Saturday the first half of Sunday. Was in the low 40s and raining when I got to lava lake Sunday (snowing at 6400’). The next day it was totally sunny not a cloud in the sky and in the mid 60s…even warmer today. Just had to deal with a bit of rain (and some very cold temps at night) but I have the proper gear so totally worth it. Probably the best most unexpected part of the journey was getting to be up in the fresh late September snow worked out perfect timing wise!

Tried to catch the ISS about 10 mins ago. Unfortunately could not find it, there isn't much of an opening in the skies (trees, houses, buildings... etc) here for me to catch it.

Wait a minute... what the hell? Am I wrong? This tweet says the ISS will be over our skies between 8:28 and 8:32PM.

But the tracker shows that it's currently over the Atlantic? Where is the ISS right now?

That's cool. I don't know if you are by yourself, but one of my favorite things to do when I was in my early-mid 20s was camp out in Central and Eastern Oregon by myself. Great memories, and some of the most satisfying days of my life. One day I remember particularly well was camping along the Deshutes River between LaPine and Wickiup. Fishing for Brown Trout, and just letting my mind be free. One afternoon I witnessed a Golden Eagle fighting with a Bald Eagle. Amazing experience.

Super cool! Yeah I am by myself having a total blast being able to take it all in alone. I’m also on the deshutes river next to little lava lake right now very very beautiful.

Amazingly, SEA only needs 0.07" of rain the rest of the month to be "normal" for Sept. Didn't think we could get there considering the summer we've had but could potentially end the month well above average for precip.

Last 3 September’s have all been pretty decent. Have had atleast 2” of rain the last 3 in a row. Just didn’t have the thunderstorms like the last 2 years.

It’s a beautiful area that I would not mind exploring more some day. Not going to happen this year as I’m busy moving even further away from that area.

It's called clown range for a reason.

Leaving Bellingham?  Where are you moving to?  We've decided to stay, but I still think about moving every once in a while....like...every time I have to get on I-5  🙄

Ended up 45/74 in my neck of the woods, sitting at 54 now.

Vancouver, BC. Got a job offer from a company there and due to various regulations I have to be within Canada while doing it, and I have a fair amount of friends in Vancouver, so that's where I will be landing at least to start.

Sort of a shame Bellingham didn’t last, but it was every bit as good a place as I imagined it to be from afar.

Yeah. Even with the first system for early next week, that is turning much much wetter than the previous runs.
