TT-SEA
Lightning in SoCal... You'd think that for $5 billion, SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, would never have a weather delay. You'd think that an NFL team playing in Los Angeles wouldn't have a weather delay period. Viewers who turned on "Monday Night Football" at the usual time were surprised to find out otherwise. The start of the Los Angeles Chargers' home game against the Las Vegas Raiders was delayed due to lightning strikes in the area. The game, slated to kick off about 8:15 p.m. ET, ended up kicking off about 8:50 instead. The panels on the side of the stadium are open, and that combined with the lightning in the area posed a safety risk. 1 Quote **REPORTED CONDITIONS AND ANOMALIES ARE NOT MEANT TO IMPLY ANYTHING ON A REGIONAL LEVEL UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED**

AbbyJr
It looks like we have a strong -QBO at 30mb right now and a weak +QBO at 50mb. If I understand correctly, but correct me if I'm wrong, the 50mb level has more of an impact on the PNW weather. If so, could someone explain why this is the case? Also, if the 30mb level is trending strongly negative, does that suggest the same pattern will occur at the 50mb level?
