The peak was around 9:30, but it's faded quite a bit and now it's really only visible with a camera. First time I’ve ever seen it with my own eyes would’ve been cool to drive somewhere to see it but was unsure of if it would actually appear tonight so didn’t go anywhere to see it. But it doesn’t have the low dew points one would associate with a truly notable October cold snap. The willamette valley can record some fairly impressive lows in October, but low dew points are key. I suspect a number of spots in the valley could underachieve tonight because of low clouds and patchy fog.
