Some strange texture to the cloud deck moving overhead right now. Maybe related to some low level instability? These are unedited.

I sure wish we could get a few more days like today, this month.

Hit 69.9 here after a low of 44.  Currently 67.  I agree we need more of these.  Bought a generator today and mowed the lawn too.

Winds: The biggest uncertainty will reside in the winds as the
track of the system will play a vital role. Overall, this system
will bring the potential for a longer-duration wind event, with
southeasterly winds expected to increase starting Sunday morning
and remaining elevated through Monday morning. Areas that
currently look to have the potential for the strongest winds
include the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the coast, and areas across
the northern interior (primarily north of Everett). Ensembles
hint that the current, most likely scenario for lowland areas east
of the Sound are to experience sustained winds of 15-20 mph, with
gusts to 35-40 mph possible.

Perfect!! Hopefully that will bring down the majority of the leaves so I can do one big cleanup and then be mostly done.

He's using items that will be illegal in CA by 2024... Sadly they will probably be illegal in WA by then too... By illegal I mean that in a loose sense, my understanding is one can still possess a gas powered lawn mower in CA in 2024, but you will not be able to buy one.

Oh yeah without a doubt…I plan on buying a whole new fleet of gas powered yard equipment shortly before the ban happens up here so I will have them for the rest of my yard working life. Though I could just make a quick run over to Idaho and buy if needed. And I’m sure my neighbors will be doing the same so I won’t worry about anyone turning me in.

Unfortunately I think you are right.  I will continue to polute with my mowers and my newly aquired generator util they knock on my door and put the handcuffs on me.  I use mole traps very successfully despite the fact that it is illegal to trap moles in this state even though they sell the traps everywhere.  61 degrees and still dry.

Yep.  The following is a quote lifted from an internet source:  “Although Washington state allows the killing of moles, the body-gripping scissor or pinching traps commonly used elsewhere are illegal in the state. There are some legal ways to kill moles in Washington state, according to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.”

Even though the traps they describe as illegal are sold in many stores in Washington.

Yeah, in every local hardware store you can buy the scissor and pinching traps.  I use something called the Gopher Hawk that pinches very well.

Not to get to off track, but that's kind of what our country is devolving into. A nation of laws/rules governing almost every aspect of life, but seldom actually enforced.

Maybe we can work with folks on the east side, get an Underground Railroad for gas powered lawn implements to get them to folks who need them on the west side.

Got real bumpy at about 1,000 out of BLI up to our cruise altitude (10-12k feet).

Smoothed out until 1/2 way through our decent and a very squirrelly approach.  I’m pretty sure Captain Kangaroo caught the one wire when he slammed it on the carrier deck…I mean….runway here at SeaTac, and scraped what was left of the landing gear across the ground to the gate.

in all seriousness the folks up front did a good job in rather gusty conditions.
