FWIW... the 12Z Canadian and 12Z ICON both keep that cut-off low much farther north after the AR event which opens the door to some precip over the weekend and larger system rolling in by Monday on the ICON. 00Z ECMWF also leaned that way with keeping that cut-off low farther north. I am not sold on there being clear skies with mild days and chilly nights yet. I see the webcama even at lake level are getting a lot of snow. That seems like much more snow than they were forecasting yesterday, at least at that altitude.
