I know you did really well that year.❄ Might never experience a winter like that again. 50-70”+ of snow in 12 days w/ 20ft drifts..god I would give almost anything to relive that. 2 1 Quote Live Weather Cam: https://www.youtube.com/live/KxlIo8-KVpc?si=xKLCFYWbZieAfyh6 PWS Wunderground https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMDBETHE62 PWS CWOP/NOAA: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=F3819&hours=

Rubus Leucodermis
Mild night. Only got down to 50°F. Rain came in around 4:45 am. Temperature now up to 55°F, so I would guess the downsloping is underway. NWS is going for a high of 61°F here, but their models usually underestimate the effect of downsloping-induced warming in my microclimate. Quote It's called clown range for a reason. LowerGarfield
We had maybe an inch or two of snow in the last week of October last year. That was more than we had for the next two months. We scored about a foot in that same storm you guys got in PDX and South Sound too. Our neighbors said the Oct snow was unusual since most of our snow is late season. We have more snow days than those on the west side, but since I'm in a moderate rain/snow shadow (not as bad as central WA thankfully) you guys have higher potential for storm totals than we do. Used to live close to Moss man (close to Stanwood HS) and would use his forecasts as a lurker to determine snow days. 2 Quote Garfield County/Pomeroy, WA: 2023-2024 Snowfall totals: 14.3 inches HIghest snow total (per event): 5.8 inches total 1/11/24 - 1/12/24.
