Check out 1911!

11/11/11 to be exact.

The arctic front crossed southern Vancouver island during the Remembrance Day ceremonies on 11/11/1955. Victoria Gonzales was 26F with moderate snow and a NE wind at 11am that day.

Checked the state map... there is no way it was snowing in MN today.   Randy's relatives might be pulling his leg.   Or maybe it was a Facebook memory post from another year. 😀

If the last 2 years of weather keep going, your place is going to be a tourist attraction.

Already is for hiking and for water activities.

If it happened for one hour, I wouldn't put it past them to have a quick dusting before sunrise.

Approaching March I can have 6" fall in the AM and have highs in the upper 60's.

Can happen... but not today in a warm air mass over the Midwest.

Well FB is down so perhaps it was a non memory post from last year? 😀 I can’t look up the post due to the great FB crash of 2021!

Another wet euro run. Solid run for the first half of October with mountain snow and seasonally chilly temps.

FB, Instagram, WhatsApp, Coinbase (the latter 3 don't concern me) ALL down today.

Sometimes I just love simplistic message boards like this place. It takes me back to the internet of 20 years ago.

Did some type of hack or something happen? Honestly didn’t know anything was going on since I have none of those apps. Haven’t even logged onto Facebook for like 6 years.

No clue. I guess they all share some kind of server (?) because all of them went down same time.

I kind of use facebook but only on my computer.

Control was a bit of an outlier. Lets hope the op is picking up on something that the ensembles will come around to the next few runs. GFS was also an outlier in the mid range relative to ensembles.

This happened at work a few weeks ago. The entire planet was affected with AWS. Even Prime music and video were affected. The managers didn't want to receive any trucks because the product would virtually disappear.

That would be absurdly early for a real displacement. Usually don’t see wave driving really crank until November.

A sacrifice to the weather gods. Now who else should be banned to increase our chances for a blockbuster winter?

For the sake of our PNW winter, we probably don't want a SSW before November, correct?

I don’t think there has ever been a SSW in October. The earliest legit *attempt* at one was Nov/early Dec 1996, IIRC.

The best sunset ever happened 11/8/2016. ;)

Blurry, ugly power lines everywhere, and less than vibrant colors.....yeah, a precursor to the dumpster fire that would take place over the course of the next four years.
