How do I thank Cliff Mass?

I want to give Cliff Mass a big thank you for helping me understand the weather patterns during times it was boring and why we were having the ridges we were as I was very depressed about it not understanding what was going on.    He even came up with a Seattle Excitement Index which I found fun and hope he uses for this year.

The kicker is that he doesn't allow guest posting and has no contact forms which makes me wonder how people would let him know if his blog starts having *hiccups*  or become inaccesable for strange reasons.   I simply want to thank him for his techincal discussions.

.. Presuming that you've gained the insight/s that you have, suggested above, with either having read through some of the professor's different main blog entries addressing the stronger ridge patterning having impacted us all here in the West this winter, this or either otherwise, having tuned in or listened later more online to one or more of his different segments aired weekly on the radio, …

.. where considering the first idea here above, .. with clicking on "comments" at the bottom of whatever main blog-entry, you can submit a comment, this with and before being guided to one of a few different resources accessible there working to facilitate this potential.

This, and/ or where looking at the idea otherwise of going through his more radio focused output channel, with signing onto the main archived compilation of different main topics that he's covered there, ...

Thanks Richard for rejoining but I was hoping to either use my WordPress account or my FB account but he won't accept either of those.

I am learning C++ with Dad and also want to start my own Word Press blog as soon as I have enough money for a decent weather station with an automatic rain gauge which due to going on a vacation this March won't be until Spring just in time to record our string of 100Fs  during the record breaking June heatwave here in Oregon we will hopefully get.

I don't want an Open ID account just to make one post on his blog when I already have a Word Press account so I guess I just have to accept he doesn't like people talking to him.   Some people seem to have an *attitude* about guests though I still will read his blog from time to time.

I'm clued into the blog with "Google plus". It's fairly straight-forward. Most blog facilitation resources have you sign on to another entity toward leaving comments attached to specific entries. Beyond this, "Open ID" is simple. Just use it if nothing else.

And you should, be able to sign on to to leave a comment using "Word Press".

I'm pretty sure Cliff Mass knows about this forum. You could always go to his blog and post a comment.

He definitely knows about the forum.

I met with him a couple years ago about possibly transferring to the UW and I had posted about that meeting on the forum.

The first thing he said to me when I walked through the door was "oh I see you posted about our meeting on the Western weather forum."

I'll make a throw away Open ID account then as with Word Press some blogs seem to have a "You don't own this identity* error even though I am signed in.
