Meatyorologist
Here's another thunderstorm pic, this time from the morning of 08/02/2014. I actually woke up to these as they blossomed indiscriminately for a few hours in the late morning, one tiny popup storm after another. They blew up so fast you could see them form in real time from small buildup to tower. Plenty of lightning and I think Ballard and SeaTac got nailed by some large hail (maybe 0.5" diameter?). There may have been more storms that afternoon or not... my mind is fuzzy and I never put anything on twitter so it's difficult to say for sure. Sorry for starting the November 2021 thread right off the bat with images from summer 2014, but I'm just really psyched that I was able to recover these images after I thought I had lost them. Plus the weather's pretty slow right now and the banter thread is mainly football/politics. 4 Quote Weather stats for MBY Snowfall: -Total snowfall since joining: 50.25" -2018-19: 21" -2019-20: 2.5" -2020-21: 13" -2021-22: 8.75" -2022-23: 5.75" -2023-24*: 0.25" -Most recent snowfall: 0.25”; January 17th, 2024 -Largest snowfall (single storm): 8.5"; February 12-13, 2021 -Largest snow depth: 14"; 1:30am February 12th, 2019 Temperatures: -Warmest: 109F; June 28th, 2021 -Coldest: 13F; December 27th, 2021 -Phreeze Count 2023-24:
