The EF scale only measures damage to buildings, so they aren't able to be officially rated. One can still try to gain a strength estimate of course by looking at the gate to gate shear measured aloft on the radar. 5

Chewbacca Defense
Last soccer game of the year today, dry but quite blustery, and COLD. The field is oriented with the wind, and I almost had to make a save on the other keeper's goal kick. He popped it up and wind caught it and sailed it down the field. Last defender barely trapped it. I always joke with the team that I am going to score a goal (as the keeper) on days like this, but this is the closest it has come to actually happening in the 13+ years I've been playing. Winds were gusting 25-35 mph at the airport (mile or so west) at the time of the game. 49/40 so far for the day with .30" in the rain gauge. 6 Quote Britton Rd Bellingham Weather Station: https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KWABELLI103?cm_ven=localwx_pwsdash
