My Stihl has a lot of mileage on it! This is how I spent my lunch break! Been blowing twice a week so it’s not too bad and I can get the driveway and landscaped areas done in an hour. Could not imagine life without it! 😀

I can understand clearing walkways, but why the driveway?

If I don’t there is so much material that drops from the trees that it eventually turns to mud, the driveway doesn’t appear to be steep in the picture but it’s quite steep to the point where people start spinning non AWD tires trying to get up the driveway which would drive me nuts seeing the muddy skid marks. Someday I plan on paving it…In the far distant future.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Definitely not bored…Life is insanely busy but I like nice clean landscaping hence why I chose to do that during lunch instead of eating!

I know, I just like to joke around.  Looks like some heavy stuff off the coast showing up.  We got a quick .03 here in Culver....doubt we triple that during this event.  The warm front is usually the big producer.

You could pave it sooner if you quit allowing tofu and salmon topped with cheese to be purchased.

More variable seasons, I think Kentucky gets more blizzards than Klamath Falls but averages around a 1/3rd my former snowfall annually.

Well, you’ll definitely get more snow than me on that side of the Appalachians. Also you won’t have to worry about the downslope wind.

Summer will still suck, though.

I wouldn't write it off quite yet considering heavy rain is starting to develop off the coast at the moment. WPC mesoscale discussion puts it pretty well, actually.

WPC's Excessive Rainfall Discussion (noaa.gov)

Every model paints at least a couple inches for the higher elevations. Though the mesoscale models are somewhat backing down for spots, there's nothing indicating we won't see couple hours of heavy rain.
