Totally true story one of my cousins started out with a 10k bitcoin investment and turned it into 10 million. If you know what you’re doing you can do some amazing things.

I got lucky on Tesla stock and AMC theater.  I don't know what I'm doing I just picked a couple and got lucky.  I got into Tesla when it was 50 bucks

Low of 38 this morning…I did notice the moon was quite bright looking out west but I was too lazy to get up at 6am to go get and photos.

Pretty decent low for your location in this situation.  It blows my mind you have yet to get your first freeze though.

Are you the guy that turned an $8000 investment in Shiba Inu into 5.7 billion dollars in a little over a year?

That was misleading… Most of that was him cashing in $25 savings bonds he got for his birthdays from his gramdma.

It still blows my mind, take a look at a 69 chevelle or camaro technology and then imagine building a space ship during same time period and flying to the moon. Every thing on that car was analog.  It didn't even have electronic ignition just points ignition.

We only average 22 freezes a year. Usually we we’ve had a freeze by now but there’s a few years we’ve had to wait until December to do it. Lots of things factor into us not getting many freezes like being close to the sound and really exposed to wind. The other night a light NE breeze just didn’t die off until right before sunrise.

Good point.  It was freezing here for about 8 hours the other night, but nothing to write home about for sure.  Some Nina seasons are terrible early on and then go nuts.

There are a lot of scam coins in the crypto world right now. So be careful.  I can’t imagine the stress I would feel letting my investment ride long enough to reach the 10 million dollar amount.

I can usually pull off 60 or so.  Some years we get into the 80s for freezes.  Back when things were colder 100 freeze winters weren't unheard of around here.

I don't even have a vague idea of what crypto currency is.  I think it's basically just a make-believe number in a computer though.  Scary stuff in the big picture IMO.

Think we had 45 in 08-09 that’s the most I can remember in my lifetime. Then we had like 12 in 15-16.

I waited 5 months for this car man. The chip shortage is taking a toll on car manufacturers.

I heard that GM is no longer putting heated/cooled seats and steering wheel warmers in any of their truck models except for the highest Denali package due to the chip shortage. Glad I bought my SLT when I did! I could not live without my heated steering wheel…I would have been forced to spend 10k (or more now) more for the Denali! Crazy how much has changed since buying my truck in April 2020. Dealers had massive stock and you still have wiggle room for negotiations!

Yeah I’d have to check with my cousin if I was serious about it. I don’t know if I could wait it out that long it took him a really long time playing it out to get there. It’d be cool to make a decent amount off of it though.

Hiked up Mt. Si this morning, got to the peak around dawn. Absolutely gorgeous and quite cold and snowy up at the top. Started at 40°F and got down to 28°F or so at the peak, with lots of fog along the way (got some ice accretion on my hair near the summit); pretty closely following the moist adiabat, which makes sense given PSCZ mixing and near constant fog along a ~3500’ ascent.

Yeah… but how’s your stock portfolio???

Google GM trucks stored in grass fields.  Gm has a surplus of trucks sitting in muddy fields waiting for chips. They don't run, they are getting moved with heavy equipment and getting trashed with mud. I guess some of them have been outside waiting since February.
