EPS continues to show serious cold building over eastern Alaska/Yukon/northern BC during the second full week of December. Ridging is centered way too far west for it to matter plus a raging + EPO.

By the way, thanks all for posting maps and giving your analysis on what may come.    It’s always fun regardless if we get the goodies or not. Well November is almost over. Looks like Sea-Tac will come in about 4 inches wetter than normal, and about 1 degree F warmer than normal. 

We had our first frost of the year on November 17, about 2 weeks before normal. 

We set two daily record highs on the 15th and 28th, and set no new record lows. 

It was a fun and stormy month. Not bad for a changed climate! I'm still optimistic that we'll see at least one snow storm this winter.

EPS weeklies are pretty good, I'm sure we'll get a decent shot at something between mid December and mid January.

I can hardly tell the difference these days. Warm and wet is the December and January trend starting in 2017.

Our sunset is at 4pm today. The earliest sunset is on December 13th at 3:57pm. Sunsets start getting later on December 14th.

Cold is easier to deal with in my humble opinion. You just need to dress properly for it. You are free to disagree though.
