snow_wizard
Interesting. The MJO forecast shows a more robust wave developing than earlier runs. Just today we put in a bid for a nice/decent house over in the Spokane area. We honestly don’t know if we’ll end up getting the bid but I’m excited at the prospect of going to a location that will feature more snowy weather in the wintertime. If this don’t work out we’ll continue to keep looking. I love W. Wa but I want to be where I can get cold/snow during the right season. Nice. I have been lurking on the Spokane subreddit. Seems like a lot of all cash bidding wars still going on over there in the sub $325k range. Be wary of cheap flips and good luck.

SilverFallsAndrew
I run in more conservative circles. I only know people fleeing the PNW to Idaho or Texas. Personally the insane real estate market tempers my desire to move. I'm locked into a really affordable mortgage. I have lots of equity, but with how expensive things are in the West I would have to move to the midwest to buy something with cash. Would have been good to see the writing on the wall for this region and have bought in Idaho back in 2018 or so. The bay area has over 7 million people and the average home price is now over 1 million. San Jose average home price is $1.3 million. Most people bought after the 2008 market crash in the 300 to 600k range. Lots of equity to buy cash somewhere else and not have to worry about a mortgage. I never thought my house would be worth 4 times what I paid for it in 2010. Now I am looking at buying a place with cash so i don't have to worry about a mortgage, but I would have to get in line. For me though it's the gloom, the lack of cold (most years), and too many people now. Yes... the city of Seattle is straight up depressing now. I don't even want to bring guests there. Its absolutely embarrassing. I pray that the people of Seattle are waking up now. 2 Quote **REPORTED CONDITIONS AND ANOMALIES ARE NOT MEANT TO IMPLY ANYTHING ON A REGIONAL LEVEL UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED**

The memes are a great look see and so is some of the video. As US Marines were entering Baghdad and had taken over he wailed and wailed at the CNN camera crew that the invaders had been turned back at the gates and that the Iraqi Air Force was knocking our jets out of the air. Classics. Just classics. Oh look, the 384 our GFS shows snow. Well D**n folks, get out the snow shovels. It's gonna happen. Pretty much the opposite. There is definitely not a mass exodus for the area but at the same time I’m not also of a fan on the people coming in either. I guess I’m just an old school Seattleite — I love what my city used to be. And to actually not to get too far off topic from weather related stuff…. the homelessness and the crazy stuff around here is completely out of control. im very fortunate to be in the tech industry but as long as it remains booming here, people will keep on coming. Lived here my whole life, and honestly thus far don't see myself really moving away from the west coast. If I can ever afford it, would love to live in and around the Issaquah/Gold Bar area up in Washington, or even in the Bend area. I do love Portland and W. Oregon with all my heart but it would be nice for a change of atmosphere. 3 Quote "Let's mosey!" --Cloud Strife ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Top 5 Snow Events (post 2014): (1.
