Just came across a crazy video of the tractor rescues in Sumas.

I think the best line is "I've never had to worry about making a wake with a tractor before"

Probably several hundred thousand dollars worth of tractors they took out there and risked destroying.

Thanks for sharing, Chewbacca. My parents' place makes an appearance. Right here. They've already gutted it. Floor to basically ceiling.

Another decent rain event next weekend on the euro…gfs still shows a decent amount with that system but the bulk of it ends up in Oregon. Up to 0.70” with this event…raining moderately got a decent shot at 1” total still for the event.

The EPS control shows the hammer about to drop at the end of the run.

Loving south of PDX is not the best place for snow lovers. It’s barely tolerable in Puget Sound area !

It’s more rare to have a snowless winter here still. In the last 16 winters we’ve only been blanked here (less than 1”) in Tacoma 4 years…04-05, 09-10, 12–13 and 15-16. 75% success rate isn’t too bad.

Bingo. Our median snowfall is like zero. Most years have nothing in this location. Sure, there are exceptions like 13-14 or 16-17. But those are rare.

Looks like around .80 for this event in the valley and up here... no upslope effects this time.

It was 41 and raining in North Bend yesterday at 4 p.m. and its still raining and 41.    I don't think the temp moved al night.

0.87 for me yesterday, and an additional 0.61 so far today.

Where do I place my snow order?? 🤔

I see OLM is at 1.33 inches for this event... and at 9.50 inches for the month.

KUIL is now over 20 inches of rain for the month so far which is about 11 inches above normal.

And that station is now 20 inches above normal for the water year which started 50 days ago on October 1st!     They had 19 inches in October which was 9 inches above normal.      Ridiculously wet!

Looks like 0.57” with this “event.” Still raining and temp beginning to drop a bit. 44 after an early morning high of 49.
