Getting worried now about TacomaWaWx.     He would normally be posting during a storm like this... and has not posted or reacted on here since Friday morning.

Taking a bit longer to get to the new place. But we finally left KFalls yesterday (few hurdles with banks).
Took 140 East through southeastern Oregon (didn't expect part of it to be on a cliff side!) and we got to Winnemucca last night. Thankfully the worst of the travel was done in daylight, there was a 20 mile stretch we were the only human beings on the road. Looks like the weather held off just in time as well. It was mostly sunny leaving Holiday Inn.

This hotel I'm in is also a Casino/Restaurant. I might try a couple slot machines.

Most of the drive was around 6000-6500 elevation, quite high! I'm convinced there was a brief 9000' drive before hitting Nevada. lol

Yes think we did. I remember going through a place that said it was a Blizzard Gap Summit (ouch during storms?) and the geography was not like the Oregon I'm used to. ;)

Yeah... sometimes he posts more when camping and always posts pics.   But I didn't see anything about a trip this past weekend.   And its Tuesday now... so this is the 5th day with no activity at all.    If you look at the member page it keeps track of your posts and reactions.   Last activity was 9:58 a.m. on Friday.

The only thing I know for sure is that he works at Fred Meyer in Tacoma... and I think some people on here are familiar with the specific store location.

The closest thing we can do is have administrators of these forums do an IP check and possibly locate last known position. It’ll then maybe have to be reported to authorities. Don’t really know of anymore personal information from him other than he works at one of the local Fred Meyers in Tacoma.

52F and overcast but we had strong rain and wind from 12-2am. Heard some tapping so either hail or rain paired with a strong east wind. It woke all of us up last night. Spouse's parsley took a tumble.

Winnemucca is a nice little area, wouldn't guess this is actually smaller than K-Falls, the streets are quite flashy at night.

Noticed it snowed a little at KLMT and LKV, talk about close call.

I've been through there. I think I read they once had the biggest red-light district for Nevada? As for driving through high elevations, my old car would turn the check engine light whenever I was over 8,000'.
