Sea-Tac's wettest November day on record was on November 20, 1959 with 3.41 inches of precipitation.

They might have a shot at it depending on what time of day the precip starts.

This could be some crazy stuff coming up. I’m also interested in seeing about the potential for more wet weather coming after this one gfs isn’t quite as wet as the euro later next week.

One more could put us in 1853 territory.  That was the wettest November ever.  Worth noting that's yet another one that was followed by wicked cold.

It is exceedingly gray/grey today!  If the land wasn't in these photos, they would just blend in with the water.  The Olympics are pretty obscured by the clouds, but the Cascades are visible.  Images reduced in size so they don't DESTROY the site. 😉

It’s over…What a bust! Only .01” on the day.
The above is a joke…Haha.

Its coming. My neighbor and I got the drainage situation mostly rectified, will need monitoring throughout this event. Was a hell of a washout last evening, luckily my secondarily drainage system handled that water…Barely. The next stop would have been straight to the house. The house itself would not flood but under the house is where the HVAC system lives…I would rather not take a chance with the Geothermal getting compromised. Oh and I got my Imported Italian Twinkle Lights on the tree! Nice day!

Looking more likely we’re going to be included in the heaviest part of the deluge too. Probably will only be half the amount of rain 10-15 miles south of here.

Looks like the crazy numbers will stay to the north but, yeah, we’re gonna get more than our share apparently.

That nearly straight westerly trajectory being shown is a big deal.  These are the ones that usually lead to the big cold later on.  It also usually results in much worse river flooding.

Heavily tanked -PDO = More ARs? Just wondering.

Some of the most prolific ARs have happened during El Niño. Screaming NPAC jet better fits the +PNA/+PDO EOF.

Of course each case is unique. And the PDO actually doesn’t drive the pattern. It’s an echo of patterns that have already happened.
