We are right where we want to be at this point.  It's best to have a few warning shots before plunging into the big stuff.  It just seems to work out better that way.

I've already blown past what the ECMWF forecast for rainfall up to 12z tonight.  Looks like the GFS wins round one.

What are the odds, I just logged on here to say there are like a million geese flying overhead in the middle of the night. Been going on for almost 10 minutes. Legit spooky. 

Didn’t even know they migrated in the dead of night.

I notice some geese going over the other day at work... they do migrate at night sometimes...

00Z EPS through day 11 looks pretty close to the operational run... clipped by trough next weekend.   Looks like a drier pattern overall which will be nice.

The temps has shot up a few degrees now.  Still pouring.  The Cascades have to be getting a deluge with the moisture ramming in from the west.

I stumbled across that discovery last fall while taking the garbage out one night.  I can't remember exactly what time it was but it had been dark for at least a couple of hours.  Crazy stuff.
