I gotta say, the negativity and salty attitudes are getting old and tiresome.

A lot of it is sarcasm. But yeah if things even go slightly in the wrong direction here the trolls and negativity really get going. Still lots of time to go this winter no winter is a winter cancel until late February.

Tim, how are daffodils and crocuses doing? Looking warm this weekend. Should be a good weekend for them 😁

In all honesty, I have volunteer lettuce and potatoes growing right now and one of my summer succulents is coming up also.  F-ing Crazy.

Been a few weeks since I have been out in my garden but last time I was out there it appeared in had the same situation going on. Hopefully that will come to an abrupt end soon.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Not toooo bad so far.  It gets much worse, stick around.

I think it was Jan 2011 when it looked like it was going to be epic region-wide and rivalling or surpassing 2008.  Then nothing.  That was a meltdown!

At least this winter has acted more like a normal La nina so far plenty of rain and great snow conditions for the mountains in the west. We are doing a lot better at this point than the last few years with plenty of winter ahead and no real torch in sight

I saw Snowmizer on TV last night! He came on to let us know those cutoff lows will disappear from the models soon. Anyway he looks a bit different than what I had envisioned! Oh and apparently this is the year without Santa Claus. 😞

Snowmizer needs to bring back that avatar.  We used to get good snows during that time frame.

Seattle still got a 3-4" overrunning event from that, but it was very short lived and NOTHING like what models had been showing (back-to-back-to-back major snowstorms inside day 6.) Major torching immediately followed because the lows all tracked further North of us.

That's good for me.  I'll be heading to Yakima in about an hour or so.

Good timing... just some high clouds and 40 in North Bend with an east wind.     Precip might sneak up here this afternoon but it should be light.

Its over, but it's really not O!VER.  Deep down it's probably over.  But in reality I still think It's Coming.

Clear enough?

I need to bring back the weenie tag and maybe add a bare and wet tag.

Currently 33f and on and off snow around my part of Medford in some other areas of town it's raining so sadly it's going to start happening here soon. I think this exceeded my expectations though it said it was going to rain much earlier.
