Need to get that figured out before the next round for sure. I didn't bother with my blower. It has performed poorly for years and can't handle wet snow. The auger belt appears to be a bit loose so I need to tighten it up before Saturday and hope that helps. Tom
ORD officially ended up with 1.5" of slop while the NW burbs cashed in better int he 2-4" range...not a bad way to finish off a very warm DEC...could be worse, hey, at least we set another record for the latest measurable snowfall (j/k)...12-28-21 will be in the record books.
Hawkeye
The models this morning are placing today's narrow 1-2" snow band through Iowa City, with only a dusting in Cedar Rapids. It's coming down pretty well just outside of Des Moines. Started about 45 minutes ago and have a little more than half an inch. May be able to get 2 inches out of this but just nice to have a white ground show up. Just a teaser for Saturday hopefully!❄❄

Tom
There was a weenie band that set up across the NW/N burbs later in the evening and dropped a quick 1-3" in an hour. A report in Lake county had 3.1" in an hour. I woke up around 10:00pm or so last night and it was ripping pretty nice and I picked up about 1.3" of fluffier snow and 2.8" of snow the past couple days. 1
