Need to get that snowfall with the system cooling the air at good precipitation rates. Best for it to start late in the night and then strengthen during the day... This event was purely a north/south regime both at the surface and aloft. The vast disparity between the Okanogan Valley and Spokane Valley was major evidence of this. This was mostly due to block placement and the inability of it to progress to a more positive tilt. Yes, our air masses have overall moderated.
