Haven't spoken to anyone since before my birthday over there. KLMT picking up anything around 65mph could translate to localized 70-75 in spots. NWS was expecting up to 55 over there in advisory areas. I'd say it overperformed on the wind side of things. I couldn't believe the station near me gusted to 63 mph last night and we only lost power for about 5 minutes. That's an exposed station, but the winds were rocking and rolling last night. Our temp spiked into the mid-40s around 4-5am too, but then crashed hard. The only times downtown would lose power was during a good thunderstorm, at least when I lived there in the city. Almost lost it one time when I had a windstorm in Feb 2015 tho. The snow and cold, no matter how deep it was, never knocked it out.
