Yeah, it's a crew rowing dock so it's almost flush with the water to get on and off easily. That location is actually the crewhouse that holds the boat that won the 1936 Olympics in Berlin! Yeah... its crazy how slow the snow melts on days like today. We had an endless run of days like this after the February 2019 snowmageddon and it took forever for it to melt. Lot of times it takes about 5 or 6 weeks to reset the pattern favorably and score again after a big event.
