Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

13 inches predicted by ECWMF in my area tonight/Monday early AM. uh oh.

I just looked and noticed the EURO is showing 16" here tomorrow... Thought that seemed overstated and then noticed the GFS says 25". That's on the 10:1 ratio, Kuchera is a bit less.

24 hours after being near tornado watches, it tastes like snow when I was out shopping.

This changes a lot faster than the northwest, no matter how much someone says Oregon is bipolar. lol

NWS point and EPSL zone forecasts don't even have snow in the mention for tonight.

Either they will look like climo geniuses in about 12 hours, or they will bust hard.

Up to an inch of rain with lows in the upper 20's for the EPSL. Interesting take . . .

It didn't have quite the bite that Feb 1989 or Dec 1990 had from Seattle south, but still very decent and very good duration.  Dec 2008 was kind of a tie IMO.  That one had some help from the east too.  This was pure Fraser until now.

2008 was much more extreme over here.

Not having the mountain ranges is like getting the training wheels off your bike. Things can change much quicker and sometimes explosively.

The fact it's still just 36 here in Everett at 1 PM certainly isn't a bad sign for tonight when the more dynamic stuff gets here. We may not need quite as much cooling as we thought.

I'm still so confused about the disconnect between models and mets. 36 here too, and switching back and forth between rain and rain/snow mix.

Exactly and it's not a warm storm to begin with.

Our local wunderground station 3 blocks or so from us says it is still only 24, but our new station is showing 32, which is the warmest we have had in over a week.

Kinda doubt that actually means anything about tonight yet. Still love to see a good rapid model run though!

Yeah, even in Seattle my house is colder than weather.com says it will get down to overnight. I’m gonna choose to believe this is a good sign for snow.

Yeah, believe so. I looked at CAPE maps for a few days and looked like it could even leak into the sound. We’ll see.
