Noticed as soon as the east wind started getting stronger the snow started mixing in. It’s close to all snow hopefully we can hold on to the cold air for awhile.

I have seen it before, still snowing here but not in Hoquiam, its like a weird transitory thing to the warmer air.

I tend to explode verbiage to FB friends during the more extreme events!  I’ve gained a following because of it…..lol!

Down to 32.5 here and patio furniture, cars, and the BBQ are in the early stages of whitening up. 

Light snow continues, but the radar looks more anemic than I hoped it would.

Raining here, but similar to a system we had in January a few years ago it definitely seems like it could be falling as snow if it were colder outside.

It does. Looks like we get the worst possible situation,  WAA with light precip. But until we loose our offshore flow anything is possible.

A pause in the snow for now, it seems. Or at least it's very light. Not a full inch of accumulation, but definitely refreshed all the bare patches, dog footprints, and slush. I'll take it!

Speaking of worst possible situation, I really can't see this bringing ANY accumulation in Seattle. Everything is still wet from the rain so it would have to snow for a while here to actually stick

I am confused by the lack of moisture all of a sudden.

I was hoping this would come inland with a stout precip field in advance of the front but so far it looks weak.

It started to, I think there was enough offshore flow to eat a bunch of moisture up.
