Low was 76.9°F this morning, warmest since July 7th 2018 at my station (low 78.4°F) and third warmest low I've ever recorded (second was 77.1°F on August 2nd 2017). Pn1ct0g3n Posted September 4, 2022 Report Share Posted September 4, 2022 An extraordinary morning indeed: peak of a heatwave with a possible direct hit from a tropical remnant! 85 here already with no hint of ocean air and Javier’s fringes are arriving. Strap in, this could be…interesting. Last time we saw anything close to this was mid July 2015 when Dolores’ remnants moved in. And even that didn’t bring significant rain to my coastal area. In 2017 or 2018 another remnant brought showers and stickiness…but could we see real soaking rain? Fingers crossed.
