Very heavy rain here just now, seems to be letting up. My weather station shows a peak rain rate of 1.33"/hr, one minute ago. My total for today jumped from 0.05" to 0.14" in only a few minutes. Temp is 45F during this so snow levels should have come down quite a bit. KNKX shows me getting hit by some yellow/orange patches right now.

Back from a weekend in Phoenix. Clearer out in the desert than west of the mountains, where I was greeted by abundant haze. Strangely very little wind in the San Gorgonio Pass on Friday and today as I drove through it, most of the windmills were not spinning at all.
