Need warm waters for a subtropical climate. What we have is a mix of Mediterranean and Semi-Arid climate zones.

High today is 64, still a few degrees below the avg.

Rare Santa Ana yesterday to take out the trash. Mid 70s here, but Palm Springs was only 69, a full 14 degrees below normal. Downtown L.A. reached 73, cracking the 70 degree mark for only the 2nd time in March.
