Anti Marine Layer
The crud is well entrenched into the mountain passes with minor leakage into the Coachella Valley. The polar air mass west of the mountains is keeping cool winds plowing through the Banning Pass. Drivers: Get ready for some car crashes in the dense fog in the mountain passes and look out for hikers, which may also be obscured by the fog, as they enjoy 45 degree paradise in their shorts and T-shirts.

We have not had a single heat wave since last Christmas. I want another 2015 summer, but it could end up being like 2010 if this pattern continues.
