31F this morning. Snow levels came crashing down last night, I can see patches of snow east of here as low as roughly 2500 feet.

As usual the snow didn't come until after the inversion was blown to smithereens. Deep marine layers and low snow levels are not compatible.

29.8 F here this morning. I imagine Thunder98 probably saw similar readings for his area. We both seem to share cold temperatures, despite being over 100 miles apart and in different microclimate zones, interestingly.

Meanwhile Marine Layer secretly wishing for snow in his OC neighborhood.

The CPC has a 90% to 100% chance of below normal temps for CA next week.  Usually numbers like that suggest the temps will be much below normal.  Some coastal snow is a really strong possibility at least for the northern half of the state.
