Santa Maria's max temp this month was only 70F! Which is the lowest max temp during the month of may since records began since 1906! Though some years were missing. The avg high for May is around 69! Just a cool, miserable gloomy month. Though the rain at the beginning of the month was awesome!

Just now, Thunder98 said:

all convective

We got 0.12" from the drizzle this morning. Once again some areas near the beaches were warmer than inland areas due to some reverse clearing. For example, Woodland Hills was only 62 F while Downtown LA topped out at 68 F.

Got 0.29" from this low. 0.04" was from the marine layer drizzle/light rain from earlier in the day yesterday and the rest was from convective t'storms and showers last night. The avg for the month of June here is only 0.04". So now at 725% of avg for the month!
